What is the purpose of public school?

The purpose of public schools is to ensure that all children have education available to them. To have a fun learning environment as well as for the students to feel comfortable. This is important because it gives all children the same opportunities when it comes to getting a good education. It is so important for children to get an education, and public school makes this possible.      Marginalized students in the school system are going to be the students that by virtue of different things such as race or gender are put into the outer limits of the mainstream class. We need to make sure that we are making their day better and not worse when it comes to these students. These students need to be given equal opportunities as any other student no matter the color of their skin.
